Private Sessions

Each evening starts with a gentle 5 minute run/walk, followed by a lesson that teaches you how to use your core in a new way, and ends with a short run to feel the differences. The lessons use the Feldenkrais Method, a gentle and powerful learning approach to help you improve how you move.

For experienced and new runners: anyone who wants to prevent or recover from injury and run with more lightness, ease, and speed.

Camp 1: April Wednesdays: 6:30-8:00 pm

Learn how the movements of your core determine how comfortable and fast you are. You'll learn a different way to think about your running that leads to more comfort and speed.

If you have an injury or chronic trouble-spot that you'd like to recover from, or if you'd like to learn how to prevent injury, a private session is the fastest way to more comfortable running.

Most injuries and pain are due to self-use while running, and the Feldenkrais Method is extremely effective at helping you change your movement habits so you can run with more comfort.

Whether your challenges are foot pain, knee pain, hip pain, hamstrings, calves, or shins, or if you'd like to learn how to safely increase your stride length, we can help!

Taught by Irene Pasternack, Feldenkrais Practitioner and runner. Irene has used these lessons to learn to run pain-free
 despite a herniated disc and various hip and foot challenges, and has helped other runners learn to do the same.
